Donald Trump praises Dana White and names Khabib Nurmagomedov as his all-time favorite UFC fighter

Donald Trump recently praised Dana White and named Khabib Nurmagomedov as his all-time favorite UFC fighter. The former United States President has been to several events and complimented the promotion as well as 'The Eagle's' legendary career.

The billionaire entrepreneur-turned-politician has been a devoted fight fan for years as he has hosted a number of boxing and MMA events as well as being a close friend of the UFC CEO. In fact, Trump and White are clearly close friends as the 55-year-old took the stage at the RNC in support of the former's presidential races.

During a recent appearance on Adin Ross' Kick stream, the former United States President shared his thoughts on the UFC CEO and also opened up about why he holds the Dagestani in high regard. Trump mentioned that White is committed to continuously growing the UFC's global appeal, while Nurmagomedov was a dominant force throughout his Hall of Fame career. He said:

"Dana [White], there's nobody like him. And I always say, 'everybody can be replaced', except Dana. This guy travels the world looking for fighters...He doesn't care, from countries nobody ever heard of and that's where he finds the best fighters...I think Khabib [Nurmagomedov, I mean, how good is he? I guess 29-0 and then his father died and then he stopped. I don't think he ever lost a round."

Donald Trump recounts meeting Khabib Nurmagomedov and what they discussed

Donald Trump recounted meeting Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 302 this past June as well as what they discussed.

During the aforementioned appearance, the former United States President noted that he and Nurmagomedov spoke briefly and mentioned that the former lightweight champion expressed his concern with the current conflicts going on in the world. He said:

"It was [an] amazing [conversation]. We weren't talking about fighting, we were talking about different kind of fighting and [Nurmagomedov] was very concerned about that whole thing, that war. He said, 'You can get it stopped'. And I can get it stopped. I will have that [war] stopped before I assume office."
