Dominick Reyes recently opened up about his legendary light heavyweight title fight against Jon Jones at UFC 247 and how it affected him. Reyes noted that he dealt with plenty of obstacles since the career defining bout.

Many believed as though the 34-year-old should have been awarded the decision win and walked out of the event as the new light heavyweight champion, but the judges scored the bout in 'Bones' favor. Reyes then lost his next three bouts before snapping his losing skid by earning a first round knockout win over Dustin Jacoby this past Saturday at UFC Louisville.

During his appearance on Monday's episode of The MMA Hour, 'The Devastator' recounted his legendary bout against Jones and the aftermath. Reyes mentioned that the fight affected him greatly because he believed he did more than enough to win the contest. He said:

"I lost my way. I was looking for something that I already had. I thought I needed to do more after the [Jon] Jones fight. I felt like I could have given more somehow when in reality I gave everything I had and then some. And it took a lot from me. And I was searching for more and I lost my way looking for something that wasn't there."
