Fans recently expressed their thoughts on Dominick Cruz naming his top five biggest upsets in the UFC. Many took a dig at Cruz for putting Dricus du Plessis vs. Sean Strickland at the top of his list.
The UFC panelists, which included former featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski, Hall of Famer and former double champion Daniel Cormier, and Cruz, listed their top five biggest upsets in the promotion before UFC 305, which was held this past weekend at the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia.
Interestingly, the title fight between du Plessis and Strickland at UFC 297 earlier this year was cited by the former bantamweight champion as his No. 1 upset in the last five years.
Many are surprised by Cruz's decision, considering du Plessis was the betting favorite going into the fight against Strickland, which goes against the notion that an upset usually happens when an underdog defeats the favorite in a fight. Interestingly, the other names on 'The Dominator's' list were underdogs in their respective fights.

When Sean Strickland spoke out about Dominick Cruz stealing the girl of his dreams
