Even though Devin Haney is back to his undefeated record, he is still unhappy with the controversy surrounding his boxing match with Ryan Garcia. Haney is determined to make Garcia pay for his actions.

For context, Haney squared off against Garcia in a much-anticipated bout on April 20. During the 12-round fight, Garcia dropped his opponent three times despite being a huge underdog. 'KingRy' won the contest via majority decision.

However, Garcia's later tested positive for the performance-enhancing substance ostarine. The New York State Athletic Commission has now changed the original result of the fight to a no-contest. Haney's undefeated record was reinstated and is currently 31-0 (1 NC).

Garcia has been suspended for a year as a result, and he must pay a $10,000 fine in addition to forfeiting his $1.1 million purse.

In a recent interview with Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour, Haney expressed his thoughts on the matter. 'The Dream' is determined to make Garcia pay for his mistakes and suffer the repercussions:

''For the sh*t that he did, I want to make him pay for the sh*t that he did in the ring, out the ring, however... When you sign the contract, when he said he’s going to be clean going into the fight and I’m going to be clean, there ain’t going to be nothing in my system, there ain’t going to be nothing in his system, and he didn’t hold up his bargain. He didn’t hold up on his side of that. So he will pay.''

Haney continued:

''He will pay in the ring. I want to get it back in blood in the ring, but also outside the ring. I’m still a businessman at the end of the day and this is a business.”

Devin Haney refutes claims that he asked to have video of his fight with Ryan Garcia removed

Devin Haney denied claims that he was attempting to get DAZN to remove the video of his encounter with Ryan Garcia. The bout has been controversial owing to 'KingRy's' pre-fight antics and failed drug test.

Garcia took to social media and posted that Haney's request to remove the footage was denied by DAZN:

''Wow thank you DAZN for not allowing that to happen"

'The Dream' was quick to address the situation. Haney denied the allegation in a comment under the post, saying it was untrue.

"This is cap.."
