Daniel Cormier hilariously threatened to walk off Henry Cejudo and Kamaru Usman's podcast, after believing they were about to compare Jon Jones to Michael Jordan.

The rivalry between 'DC' and 'Bones' is considered by many to be one of the most heated ones in MMA. The pair's flat out distain for one another led to two of the UFC's most intense bouts, as well as some of the most infamous pre-fight build-up in the promotion's history.

While ultimately Jones got the upper hand in both of their clashes, it wasn't without controversy. 'Bones' tested positive for a banned substance following their second fight and it was ruled a no-contest.

There were then rumors about a potential trilogy bout between the two stars, but it never materialized. Cormier then called time on his career and now calls fights for the promotion.

It appears, however, that the bad blood is still there between the two fighters. While speaking on the Pound 4 Pound pocast, Usman was comparing Jones' position in the promotion to that of Conor McGregor's. Before he could get his point across though, Cormier chimed in and stated he was about to walk off the podcast. He said:

"I thought you were about to say Michael Jordan or some crazy sh*t like that. I would be leaving man. If you would have said that, I'd be leaving. I'm about to leave. No he isn't [Jones being comparable to Jordan]. You're telling me Jon Jones is the Michael Jordan or LeBron James of MMA? He has not left a legacy that feels like it will never be toppled. Jordan has."

Ben Askren weighs in on UFC's decision not to book Jon Jones vs. Tom Aspinall

Jon Jones is set to make his first heavyweight title defence later this year when he faces Stipe Miocic at UFC 309 in November. The pair were originally set to face-off before the end of 2023, however, an injury to 'Bones' forced him out of his fight.

The confirmation of Jones' rebooked bout with Miocic was met with controversy, as during his injury absence, Tom Aspinall won the interim heavyweight title and defended the belt. Aspinall, as well as a majority of fans, believe he is deserving of facing Jones next, but Dana White insisted Jones vs. Miocic would happen first.

The decision has left many people baffled, including former UFC star Ben Askren. Speaking on Daniel Cormier's YouTube channel, Askren weighed in on the situation, saying:

"I want to see him [Jon Jones] fight Tom Aspinall, I've said forever. It doesn't appear to be happening. It really sucks. It sucks that I have to speak against Stipe because I have nothing against him."
