Dana White's slap fighting promotion, Power Slap, has caused much controversy in the world of MMA. Many fans, pundits and former fighters have shared their concerns with the sport, with those concerns centered around the brain trauma suffered by the athletes participating.

The UFC CEO has shared his confidence that Power Slap will become the biggest sporting attraction in the world in the coming years. He has made claims that Power Slap has accumulated more views, followers and traction online than all other major sports combined.

White's claims about the sport's popularity have been met with much skepticism from fans. But following UFC 307, held on Oct. 5, it was the turn of the promotion's CEO to share skepticism at health concerns raised by doctors about the dangers of the sport.

He was informed that after watching one episode of Power Slap several doctors had concluded that its athletes suffered concussions. White responded by saying:

"It sounds legit. They watched one episode of the show? Know nothing about medicals or what we do, or any of the studies we've done. It sounds like these typical doctors that look for attention to me."

Dana White leaves scathing review for judges at UFC 307

UFC 307 saw two title fights take place, with Raquel Pennington vs. Julianna Pena in the co-main event before Alex Pereira vs. Khalil Rountree Jr. headlined a sold-out Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.

There were several questionable scorecards produced throughout the evening, arguably none more so than Jose Aldo vs. Maurio Bautista. The contest saw the former featherweight king suffer a split-decision defeat.

But the result of Pennington's clash with Pena left fans and pundits somewhat confused. 'The Venezuelan Vixen' reclaimed the bantamweight title, but many felt that Pennington had won the final two rounds of the fight and scored the result 3-2 in favor of 'Rocky'.

During his media appearance following the event, Dana White was asked for his thoughts on the judges' performances overall. He said:

"I thought the judging tonight was atrocious. It felt like I was at a boxing match in Ireland tonight." [3:02-3:10 in Dana White's aforementioned interview]
