Dana White recently took a hard swipe at the Professional Fighters League after reports surfaced that Brendan Allen and Marvin Vettori clashed following the PFL 8 event. Both UFC middleweight fighters were present at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood in Hollywood, Florida, on Friday night to attend the event.

As combat sports journalist Alex Behunin reported on X, tensions erupted into a heated scuffle in the casino area after the event concluded when Vettori got into an altercation and attempted to strike UFC light heavyweight fighter George Tokkos, Allen's teammate at Kill Cliff FC.

UFC lightweight veteran Michael Johnson, who was also present at the scene, attempted to defuse the melee between the opposing entourages. However, 'All In' stepped in and unleashed a barrage of punches on Vettori, knocking him onto a casino table.

The UFC CEO chimed in on Behunin's post and delivered a sharp rebuke to the opposing MMA organization. He commented:

"Had to be fight of the night if it was at PFL."

When Marvin Vettori took aim at Brendan Allen's title shot callout

Marvin Vettori was initially slated to headline UFC Vegas 90 against Brendan Allen this past April but was forced to withdraw due to an injury just weeks before the event.

As a result, Chris Curtis stepped in on short notice to replace 'The Italian Dream', only to suffer a split-decision loss to Allen in a closely contested matchup.

In his post-fight octagon interview, 'All In' wasted no time calling out reigning UFC middleweight champion Dricus du Plessis. However, Vettori, clearly dissatisfied with Allen's performance, took to X to harshly criticize him for seeking a title opportunity after such a tightly contested fight.

"Allen wtf you calling for the title man you look like dog sh*t got rocked every single round and prayed you were getting the takedown just to hang in there. That sh*t was embarrassing."
