Dana White's new slap-fighting venture, Power Slap League, has been far from the success the UFC president envisioned it to be. On top of receiving heavy public backlash for the unsafe nature of the sport, Power Slap's pilot on TBS recorded abysmal viewership numbers.

While marketing the second episode of the show on his Instagram handle, the 53-year-old White was trolled by netizens after he called an Instagram account fake for criticizing Power Slap.

White claimed @portapottykarate was "another fake" private account after they criticized the slap-fighting promotion for failing to bring in viewers:

However, Dana White's attempt at trolling ended disastrously for him as @portapottykarate's logical reply completely ratioed the UFC president and garnered much more attention.

The Instagram user stated that while he was a fan of the UFC and even White himself, he was completely against the UFC president promoting such a bizarre sport:

"@danawhite not fake, sorry. Just being honest. Love the UFC and a fan of you for your work to make it what it is. But watching a guy slap another guy back and forth is like taking MMA back to civil war tactics."

Other netizens also came in support of @portapottykarate and went after the fight promoter for his inability to take criticism. Take a look at a few such replies below.

When Joe Rogan revealed that he was not a big fan of Dana White's Power Slap

Although Joe Rogan has high praise for Dana White for what he has done with the UFC, the sportscaster doesn't seem to share White's enthusiasm for slap fighting.

During the #133 MMA Show edition of The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, the UFC commentator told UFC bantamweight contender Sean O'Malley that Power Slap is not his cup of tea since the sport requires very little strategy or problem-solving prowess.

Rogan suggested that he enjoys the highly tactical sport of MMA to the non-strategic slap fighting:

"I love Dana [White] and I'd be a hypocrite if I said I wouldn't watch this [Power Slap] because I'll watch it, but this is not my cup of tea. What I like is problem-solving. I like puzzles. I like you and [Petr] Yan... I love that fight... I love technique."
