Conor McGregor has not competed in mixed martial arts in more than three years with his last appearance coming when he broke his leg at UFC 264 in July 2021. 'The Notorious' has spent much of his time away from the octagon living aboard his yacht and traveling the world. He was recently seen with fans in Puerto Banus, Marbella, Spain.

The footage led X user @acdmma_ to claim:

"bro just lives on a yacht and pops up in a new country every week doing random s**t, what a life [we’re never seeing that mf in the UFC cage ever again]"

@ITSDAFANTA chimed in, levying a wild accusation of McGregor running an underground cocaine business and his sister being married to a mob boss:

"He runs a underground coke business. The mob boss married his sister. You didn’t hear this from me"

McGregor responded with a simple emoji in a since-deleted tweet, laughing off the accusation:

"😂"

While McGregor's sister is in a public relationship with alleged Irish criminal Graham Whelan, there is no evidence of the mixed martial artist being involved in any such activity. 'The Notorious' has thrived outside the octagon, as he reportedly earned nine-figure paydays to face Floyd Mayweather in a boxing match and later for the sale of his stake in Proper No. 12 Irish Whiskey.

Dan Hooker rules out previously teased Conor McGregor clash

Conor McGregor teased that his return to the UFC could come against Dan Hooker on Feb. 1 in Saudi Arabia. While the two discussed a potential bout at a Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship event in Spain, 'The Hangman' revealed that he will not be competing in February during a recent interview with Helen Yee, stating:

"I'm good to go January or March. The misses is due February so no can go. I've got a little girl on the way. [Two girls]. Girl dad. The fighter's curse continues."

When Yee praised him for taking time off to be with his wife, Hooker added:

"Oh, you have to, mate, you have to. You have to. I think you'd even turn down a big fight like McGregor for that one, but well, you're not missing that... No, there's no panties that are coming off in February."

McGregor was previously booked to face Michael Chandler at UFC 303 in June, however, he withdrew from the bout with a pinky toe injury. 'Iron' has since been scheduled to face Charles Oliveira in a lightweight title eliminator at UFC 309 next month. It is unclear who 'The Notorious' will face in his highly-anticipated return.
