Cody Garbrandt and T.J. Dillashaw seemingly agree to "sit down" and bury the hatchet [VIDEO]

It appears as though Cody Garbrandt and T.J. Dillashaw are prepared to hash out their differences and squash their beef after a bitter and personal rivalry. Their memorable rivalry culminated in two UFC bantamweight title bouts and serving as opposing coaches on 'The Ultimate Fighter'.

There was a point when both were on great terms as they were both teammates at Team Alpha Male and trained under the tutelage of Urijah Faber. However, there was a rift after Dillashaw continued training with Duane Ludwig and then left the team short after becoming UFC bantamweight champion. The animosity reached a boiling point as Garbrandt and several others including Conor McGregor felt as though he betrayed Faber after he helped develop him into a champion.

Despite their rivalry, it appears as though time heals as both former bantamweight champions had a brief exchange on Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson's JAXXON PODCAST. During their special UFC 307 recap episode featuring Dillashaw, Garbrandt facetimed co-host Bear Degidio and agreed to a sit down with his former teammate on the podcast:

"That's heavyweight [T.J.] Dillashaw...I'm down [for a sit down on the podcast]. Let's do it, man."

When is Cody Garbrandt returning to the octagon?

Cody Garbrandt will be returning to the octagon soon as he is scheduled to fight Miles Johns at UFC Vegas 100 on Nov. 9.

The former bantamweight champion will be competing for the first time since UFC 300, where he was submitted by former flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo. Johns, on the other hand, has won back-to-back bouts this year and will be looking to surge up the rankings at Garbrandt's expense.

With the fight date in mind, it will be interesting to see whether Garbrandt and T.J. Dillashaw's sit down on JAXXON PODCAST will take place prior to or following his bout against Johns at UFC Vegas 100.
