UFC CEO Dana White considers Jon Jones the greatest combat sports fighter of all time. However, recent discussions regarding Jones' status on the pound-for-pound rankings have compelled him to reaffirm his stance on numerous instances.
From getting into heated debates with reporters, to revalidating his viewpoint on podcasts and interviews, White is standing firm in his assessment of Jones as the greatest of all time. Most recently, the broadcast of the fourth week of season 8 of Dana White’s Contender Series featured a promo of Jones.
The clip highlighted some of Jones' many achievements in the sport, accompanied by a voiceover from UFC analysts, and showcased flashes of the brilliance he has displayed inside the Octagon throughout his 23-fight UFC career. The clip also featured White's famous comments when he said:
"When you talk about who's the badest dude in the world... You put two guys in a room and who walks out? Jones walks out of that room every time."

Dana White doubles down on his stance proclaiming Jon Jones as the 'GOAT'
Dana White has been getting into multiple heated exchanges off late questioning Jon Jones' ranking on the pound-for-pound ladder. As of now, Jones occupies the No.3 spot behind Islam Makhachev and Alex Pereira.
The UFC CEO has lashed out at media members, who cast their vote to determine the weight-neutral standings. The 55-year-old steered the discussion to Jones' status during the post-fight interview of the fourth week of season 8 of Dana White’s Contender Series. He said:
"Did you guys read the stats? He recently just beat the No. 1 heavyweight in the world. I hope you guys read that stat. Do you know what is f*cking great about technology? We’re not far away from A.I. actually doing these rankings and it will be a great f*cking day when A.I. starts doing this shit. So I’m really excited about that.”
