Conor McGregor continues to entertain the MMA fanbase, despite not having fought since mid-2021. A recent clip of him filming a full moon was shared by MMA Orbit on X. The Irishman can be heard growing increasingly excited over the moon's appearance in the distance.

The moment took place on McGregor's yacht, where he captured footage of the moon from his phone. The thrill he expressed over the sight has drawn a wave of attention from fans on social media, with many flocking to X to share their thoughts on his state of mind.

Check out Conor McGregor's excitement over the moon:

As things currently stand, McGregor has no fight booked. He recently teased the idea of facing Dan Hooker now that Michael Chandler is matched up with Charles Oliveira for a rematch at UFC 310. However, there has been no official confirmation of the Irishman's proposed scrap with Hooker, despite mutual interest from both men.

Instead, McGregor is more preoccupied with his entrepreneurial duties as a part-owner of BKFC.

Conor McGregor's return has been stalled more than once

After injuring himself against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264, Conor McGregor's planned return faced its first roadblock in the form of USADA. Rumors of a testing exemption request were abound, and McGregor took longer than expected to reenter the anti-doping testing pool.

Following USADA's split from the UFC, McGregor's return was further delayed, but the exact reasons remain unknown. He was finally booked for a UFC 303 return, but a broken toe sidelined him. Although he has since healed from the injury, he still has no fight officially booked for whatever reason.
