Sean O'Malley recently sounded off on Devin Haney and took an opportunity to call out the boxer for an MMA bout. In doing so, he also called out boxers as a whole by claiming that they are afraid to transition to MMA.
'Suga' expressed interest in competing in lucrative boxing bouts in the past and used the Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor bout as a blueprint for how the UFC can be involved. But, it appears as though the former UFC bantamweight champion has changed his stance pertaining to Haney and instead wants to fight a boxer of his caliber in MMA.
During the latest episode of TimboSugarShow, 'Suga' aimed at 'The Dream' for his tweet regarding his title loss to Merab Dvalishvili. O'Malley mentioned that he would put up $1 million for an MMA bout and even offered to compete with no rule restrictions:
"Boxers are such fu**ing pu**ies, dude. Devin Haney's a bit*h...Dude, if Devin Haney wants to talk sh*t, he really wants to fight, I'll put $1 million on me versus him, no time limit and we can fight. MMA rules, just a fight or we can do no rules. If you want to fu**ing eye poke me, you can. Do a real fu**ing fight. Sean O'Malley expresses excitement about Dana White possibly getting into boxing
In addition to sounding off on Devin Haney's tweet, Sean O'Malley expressed his excitement about Dana White possibly getting into the boxing business.
During the aforementioned episode, O'Malley mentioned that White's involvement with a boxing promotion would be great for the sport. He said:
"Dana White said they've never committed to boxing and when they commit to something, they go all in, 'And I'm all in on boxing'...But dude, that's fu**ing exciting. I feel like I got five-six more good years in me. If [the] UFC is going to do something with boxing, I would love to fu**ing [do it]." [38:49 - 39:18 in the aforementioned video]
