Belal Muhammad and Cody Garbrandt starring in a commercial for a UFC partner brand has fight fans buzzing.

Muhammad and Garbrandt recently collaborated on an advertisement for YoungLA, a fitness clothing brand. In the commercial, the UFC stars, donning the brand's apparel, receive a pep talk from their coaches, creating a pre-fight atmosphere.

Muhammad will return to action on December 10 at UFC 310 in the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, where he'll look to defend the welterweight belt against the undefeated No.3-ranked contender Shavkat Rakhmonov.

Meanwhile, Garbrandt faces Miles Johns in a pivotal bout on November 9 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The former champion is 2-3 in his last five and needs to compile a win streak in order to re-enter the rankings.

Belal Muhammad opens up on his mentality heading into first UFC title defense: "We're not defending the belt"

Belal Muhammad is not resting on his laurels but is embodying the challenger mentality in the lead-up to his fight against Shavkat Rakhmonov.

In an interview with MMA journalist John Morgan, 'Remember the Name' revealed the reason behind his eagerness to face the toughest fights, saying that formidable challenges are essential to avoid complacency as a champion.

The Chicago native believes the undefeated welterweight boogeyman Rakhmonov will ignite "the hunger" in him. Talking about his mentality heading into his first UFC title defense, Muhammad said:

"Gold is the goal and I got it and you have a sense of satisfaction, but I need to get that hunger again. Where is that hunger going to come from? Alright, this guy is undefeated, he is the one they all are saying is going to beat me... Shavkat is the one that's going to put it back in my head that we're not defending the belt, we're fighting for the belt... I'm still the challenger. I always have to keep that head, I got to keep that challenger mentality."
