"Dude still bitching about the free ticket he begged for? lol"

Haney and Hearn were in attendance for the Riyadh Season card headlined by Joshua vs. Dubois, which saw the latter land several fight-ending blows on 'AJ'. As a result, 'Dynamite' shocked the boxing community to retain his IBF heavyweight title.

Meanwhile, after losing to Ryan Garcia in April 2024, which was later overturned on account of Garcia's failed drug test, Haney has since been suspended by the New York State Athletic Commission for medical reasons.

Eddie Hearn gave his take on Anthony Joshua's loss

Eddie Hearn provided his insight on the loss of Anthony Joshua against Daniel Dubois for the IBF heavyweight title at Wembley Stadium on Sept. 21. Joshua suffered multiple knockdowns, which ended with him laying flat on the canvas. Dubois defeated 'AJ' via a fifth-round knockout to retain the title.

Joshua's promoter, Hearn, opened up on his fighter's loss and maintained that, if not for the KO, 'AJ' was en route to victory.

Speaking at the post-fight press conference on Saturday, Hearn reviewed the fight and argued that, despite the loss, Joshua still showed his gritty spirit:

''It's a difficult defeat, but at this point you have to try and take any positives you can and it's difficult because the start was disastrous and the only positives I can take is the unbelievable heart and guts and n*ts that he [Joshua] showed to never give up.''

The Matchroom boxing promoter added:

''Remarkably, as bad as he performed tonight, as many mistakes that he made, he still could have won the fight.''
