Three-time PKL champions Patna Pirates are undoubtedly the most successful team in the history of the league. They have won the most number of trophies and will look to add to their cabinet with a record fourth title this time around.

The outfit won successive titles in Seasons 3, 4, and 5, making it a hat-trick and a record that remains untouched to date. Besides this, they also have another appearance in a final.

The Pirates made it to the semi-finals last season but failed to progress forward. They will be eager to bring back their old dominance from the earlier seasons.

Among the legends of Indian kabaddi and the PKL is Sandeep Narwal. The defending all-rounder has left a key impact on the league. He is recognized as among the best defenders to have played in the PKL.

During the initial seasons of Patna Pirates, Sandeep emerged as a key player. His role was crucial in their title-winning campaign in Season 3. Sandeep's all-round skills were on display during his stint with the Pirates. He picked up 147 raid points along with 119 tackle points.

Pardeep Narwal is the most successful raider in PKL history and is a stalwart of the game. During Patna's initial seasons, Pardeep was at his very best, playing massive roles in their title triumphs in Seasons 3, 4, and 5.

Pardeep gained recognition due to his successful run with Patna Pirates. He amassed 1160 raid points for the Pirates overall. Moreover, he also bagged the MVP award two times apart from setting a record in Season 5 where he scored 369 points, the most ever in a solitary edition.


Monu Goyat

Monu Goyat's most memorable performance in the PKL came during Season 5. He scored 202 points in the season and along with Pardeep, was instrumental in the team winning their third trophy. This included 191 raid points.

He returned to the franchise in Season 8, where he scored 93 points. Though it was not his best performance, he played an important role as they made it to the finals.


Sachin Tanwar

Sachin Tanwar led Patna's raiding unit during his time with the team. His journey with them began in Season 8, when he also contributed significantly during their run to the finals, scoring 172 raid points. He continued his impressive performance, scoring 176 raid points in the following season.

Tanwar was consistent for the Pirates, which was reflected by his display in Season 10, where he once again gathered 171 raid points.


Neeraj Kumar

Right-cover defender Neeraj Kumar has been a pivotal figure for the Patna Pirates. He was also an important factor in them making it to the finals of Season 8.

Neeraj has been a consistent performer for them in the defense. Across four seasons for the franchise, Neeraj has gathered 174 points and is one of their best defenders overall.

Left-cover defender Suresh Kumar plied his trade for Patna during Seasons 1, 2, and 3. He could only pick up a total of 76 points across the three seasons.

While his numbers may not be a lot, his impact was crucial as he played an important role in their victory in season 3. He emerged as a dependable defender and had a key presence on the mat for the Pirates.


Mohammadreza Shadloui

Mohammadreza Shadloui is among those players who stamped their authority on the league right from their entry. His first appearance in the league came in Season 8, where the Patna Pirates made the finals. He impressed in his very first season with 89 tackle points.

The following season, Shadloui was the side's star performer once again as he claimed 84 tackle points. Although they released him surprisingly, he makes it to their all-time seven despite playing just two seasons given the kind of impact he created.
