On Tuesday, July 23, Noida Ninjas, Yamuna Yodhas, Lucknow Lions, and Kashi Kings won on the 13th day of the Uttar Pradesh Kabaddi League (UPKL) 2024.
Lucknow Lions retained their top spot in the UPKL 2024 Points Table. They registered their 11th win in the previous game against Ganga Kings of Mirzapur 71-19. Shubham Kumar and Abhijeet Dagar scored a Super-10 each while defenders Mohd Amaan and Arpit Saroha earned a High-Five each.
Sangam Challengers suffered their fourth loss (31-46) against Yamuna Yodhas. However, they are qualified and continue to stand in the top three with 46 points.
On the other hand, Yamuna Yodhas bagged their eighth win against the Challengers and retained their third spot with 43 points in their account.
Kashi Kings also retained their fourth spot after securing their seventh victory over Awadh Ramdoots by a scoreline of 37-33. Sushant Chaudhary was the star raider with 18 raid points.
Similarly, Brij Stars held their fifth spot, winning six games and losing seven, including the previous one against Noida Ninjas by 44-36. Awadh Ramdoots lost to Kashi Kings 33-37, with Abhishek Singh scoring a Super-10 while Navneet Nagar claimed five tackle points.
Noida Ninjas secured their fourth win against Brij Stars after six consecutive losses. Arjun Sirohi scored a Super-10 while Gaurav Bansal and Abhishek bagged four tackle points each.
Ganga Kings of Mirzapur continue languishing in the bottom with two wins in 13 games. The Kings have 18 and a negative score difference of -107.
