The inaugural edition of the Uttar Pradesh Kabaddi League (UPKL 2024) has come to its conclusion after almost a month of exceptional kabaddi. Lucknow Lions secured a dominating and one-sided 59-33 victory over Sangam Challengers in the final of UPKL 2024.

The final match began with an early surge from the Sangam Challengers, who quickly established a 3-0 lead within the first minute. However, the Lions soon found their rhythm and equalized at 6-6 by the seventh minute. From that point onward, the Lions took control and maintained their dominance for the rest of the match.

The Lions' offensive dominance was evident as they amassed 32 raid points compared to the Challengers' 26 points. However, the decisive factor was the Lions' robust defense, which secured 15 tackle points against the Challengers' meager four. Defensive weaknesses plagued the Sangam Challengers throughout the season, and this deficiency was glaringly evident in the final as well, resulting in their defeat.

The Lions' superiority was further highlighted by their ability to inflict eight all-outs on the Challengers, who failed to achieve any in return.
