Puneri Paltan will kickstart their PKL 11 campaign on October 19

The Puneri Paltan will begin their Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 2024 campaign on Saturday (October 19) against the Haryana Steelers. It will be interesting to see if the Steelers can exact revenge of PKL 2023 final loss from the Paltan.

Notably, the franchise retained 12 players from the last season due to their title-winning performance. It was the most by any franchise ahead of the PKL 2024 auction.

They secured the services of raider V Ajith Kumar for an amount of INR 66 lakh and was the team's most expensive acquisition. He recorded his best-ever season with the U Mumba in 2019, earning 159 raid points.

The PKL 11 kickstarted on Friday, with the Telugu Titans winning 37-29 against the Bengaluru Bulls. Pawan Sehrawat led the Bulls' attack with 13 points, while Krishan Dhull scored six points.
