Gujarat Fortunegiants vs UP Yoddha Match Prediction: Who will win today's Pro Kabaddi 2017 match?

In Match No. 68 of the Pro Kabaddi League Season 5, the match will feature a battle of the new entrants, the Gujarat Fortunegiants taking on UP Yoddha at the Motilal Nehru School of Sports in Sonepat.

Both the teams are coming into this match on the back of contrasting results, the Gujarat Fortunegiants having lost their last match against the Jaipur Pink Panthers while UP Yoddha played out a tie against the Bengal Warriors.

The Gujarat Fortunegiants saw a minor slump in their form post their unbeaten streak of seven matches or so and will look to go out all guns blazing against the UP Yoddha.

The attack will be spearheaded by young gun Sachin alongside captain Sukesh and Rohit Gulia, the trio will be responsible to keep the scoreboard ticking. The defence will have to put forth a formidable wall against the UP attack and the main mantle will rest on the Iranian corner duo of Fazel Atrachali and Abozar Mighani who have sent a statement of intent with their performances so far.

Supporting them in this task will be the young Indian cover pair of Parvesh Bhainswal and Sunil who will have to inflict tackles replete with precision and timing.

UP Yoddha, on the other hand, will also be looking to prove a point in this Inter-Zone Challenge and skipper Nitin Tomar will look to lead the charge by example once again. The team will hope that Rishank Devadiga can feature in the starting lineup post the injury he suffered in the last match due to which he had to leave the mat midway.

Surender Singh will also assist the attack with Mahesh Goud coming into the picture for the do-or-die raids. The defence of the Yoddhas has looked in good shape with the likes of Jeeva Kumar, Sagar Krishna, Pankaj and Nitesh coming to the fore. All-rounder Rajesh Narwal though needs to buck up on the individual performance for he has not made any major contribution to the side since the start of the season.
