Womens team win series against Black Sticks

Indian women’s team lost the final test match 1-0 against New Zealand’s women team but they have won the 5 match test series 2-1. In the final Clarissa Eshuis scored the lone goal in the 6th minute of the game. Indian team won the fourth game 3-1 with captain Surinder Kaur scoring the goal in 43rd minute while Saba Anjum scored in 64th minute and Rani Rampal in 69th minute.

While NZ scored their only goal in 21st minute through Piki Hamahona.

India had won the first test match 3-2 with a superb hat-trick by Rani Rampal.

While 2nd and 3rd test match was drawn with the score of 2-2 in both the games. 5th test match will be played on Sunday.

Rani Rampal has scored 5 goals in this tournament and is the leading scorer in this tournament. This 15 year old hockey players from Shahbad in Harayana is having a great tournament and making a name for herself in such a short career. We hope that she continues her good form for the years to come and brings laurels to the country…
