India beat Malaysia in Sultan Azlan Shah Hockey

India won their second game against hosts Malaysia 3-2 in the Sultan Azlan Shah Hockey tournament. This is India’s second victory in 4 games with an equal number of losses. Till half time, India was leading 2-0. India took the lead in the 10th minute through Danish Mujtaba. Shivendra Singh doubled India’s lead in the 13th minute. Malaysia pulled one back in the 39th minute through Mohd. Amin Rahim. In the 44th minute Tushar Khandekar made the lead 3-1. Malaysia came back in the 58th minute through a goal by Fitri Saari.

The scoreline remained the same till the end of the game.

Currently India stands third with 6 points in 4 games behind an inspired New Zealand and Argentina.
