Hockey team rewarded for the performance at SAZ

Each player of Indian hockey team who won SAZ CUP were rewarded Rs. 50000 each along with the Coach Brasa and the team officials by the Cheif Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The team also received a memento from the Chief Minister.

This event was attended by 13 players of the team and 6 officials.

Chouhan even said that he was even ready to give the team blank cheques if the keep on performing like this.

“Keep performing and I am ready with blank cheques for the team,” we his words.

The team also presented a official team jersey to the Chief Minister, signed by all the players of the team.

Indian team were the joint winners with South Korea in Malaysia this year.

This is a fine gesture by Madhya Pradesh govt. The government is regularly doing something for hockey by organizing tournaments and rewarding the team. We should be thankful to them.
