Azlan Shah Hockey 2010 : India thrashes Egypt 7-1, finals with Korea tomorrow

Some good news for Indian Sportizens as India’s Hockey team comfortably defeated Egypt 7-1 here in last of its round matches at Azlan Shah Hockey cup 2010.India now qualifies for the finals and also secured their place at top of the table with 13 points. India will play Korea tomorrow in the finals of the Azlan Cup.

Though this was expected as Egypt had lost all its prior matches the margin of 7-1 was a gift from the Indian team.

Five of the seven goals India scored took place in a span of only six minutes from min 39 to 44!. Dhananjay Mahadik was rightly awarded the Man Of the Match as he started the Indian momentum with a hatrick of Goals.
