The fourth edition of the Hockey India Senior Women Inter-Department National Championship is scheduled to take place from October 14 to 21 at the Major Dhyan Chand Hockey Stadium in New Delhi.
A total of 12 teams will be divided across four groups of three teams each. Indian Oil Corporation Women, Central Reserve Police Force, and Central Civil Services Cultural & Sports Board are pitted in Pool A.
Pool B consists of the Railway Sports Promotion Board, Tamil Nadu Police, and the Sports Authority of Gujarat Hockey Academy. Meanwhile, Sports Authority of India, UCO Bank Women's Hockey Academy, and Central Board of Direct Taxes are drawn in Pool C.
Pool D comprises Sashastra Seema Bal, Union Bank of India, and Steel Plants Sports Board. The top two teams from each pool will qualify for the quarter-final, scheduled for October 18.
The semis will take place on Sunday, October 20, while the summit clash of the tournament will be played on Monday, October 21.
