Brian Harman was the fan favourite to win the 2024 Open Championship. However, with the projected cut line at five over par, the defending champion is right on the line with nine holes of the second round yet to play.

On the Royal Troon Golf Club's 394 yard-long seventh hole, Harman was faced with a 120-yard shot to the green from the middle of the fairway. Despite finding the green, the 37-year-old was visibly disappointed with the shot shape. Out of frustration, he went on to slam his club into the ground and looked away in disgust even before the ball landed.

Following his frustrating approach shot, Harman faced a challenging 33-foot, 11-inch birdie putt from the left side of the green. He narrowly missed it, settling for par and remaining at five over. To make the cut, the PGA Tour star will need an even-par or better performance on the back nine.
