Tommy Fleetwood is currently competing in the 2024 BMW PGA Championship. The first round of the tournament concluded on Thursday, September 19 at Wentworth Golf Club in Virginia Water, United Kingdom.

Tommy scored 3-under 69 in the first round and was tied for 23rd. He is tied with the likes of Si Woo Kim and Alex Noren. Meanwhile, Fleetwood's six-year-old son Frankie was seen on the driving range practicing his golf swing.

In the video shared by the official X handle of DP World Tour, Frankie is seen wearing a grey t-shirt with white stripes on the sleeves, light-colored shorts, and a cap. He had brought three golf clubs to the range and kept them on the basket of golf balls. Frankie then proceeded to practice a few golf swings as Francesco Molinari watched on.

Francesco Molinari who was already on the range, praised Frankie's swing. He exclaimed, "Wow!". He then asked Frankie how to grip the golf club and the young golfer demonstrated to the 41-year-old golfer how it's done.

When Frankie ran out of balls, he picked one from Francesco's basket. Seeing this, the six-time European Tour winner remarked:

"You like my Callaways, huh?"

Tommy Fleetwood's son responded that he had finished his share and didn't know which ones to use. Later, Billy Horschel reached the range and was awed by the young golfer's swing.

Francesco had a subpar first round. He had the highest score of 7-over 79 and is tied for 125th with Alexander Knappe. Billy Horschel had a decent round where he carded 5-under 67. He is tied for fourth. The winner will take home $1.53 million from $9 million doled out to the field at the tournament.

Tommy Fleetwood trolls Tom Holland as his son Frankie meets the Marvel actor

Ahead of the tournament, the BMW PGA Championship Pro-Am event was held on Wednesday, September 18 at Wentworth Golf Club in Virginia Water, United Kingdom.

Tommy Fleetwood also participated in the event and was paired with Tom Holland and his twin brothers, Harry and Sam. The team won the event with a score of 31.

After the event, the Marvel actor was seen conversing with Fleetwood's son Frankie. The video of the wholesome event was posted on X by the DP World Tour.

In the video, Holland praised six-year-olds swing and said:

"Well look at that, your dad's telling me that you're really getting into your golf. How's your golf going? I saw you swing a club at Masters. Most people dream of hitting a ball at Masters, that's pretty cool that you've done that," Tom Holland said.

Holland is then seen talking to Frankie listing Spider-Man's enemies. Tommy Fleetwood then interrupts in between and quips Holland saying:

"And then there's three Spider-Mans... He's kind of our third favourite," Fleetwood said.

Later, Tommy Fleetwood, Frankie, and Tom Holland clicked pictures together. In the post-event press conference, Fleetwood was asked if one of the Holland brothers was better than another. He said (via ASAP Sports):

"I can see they are very, very competitive and hold a similar standard. So I can see it getting nasty on a match between them."

Fleetwood has had a great 2024 season. The English golfer finished 20th in the FedExCup standings and is currently ranked No. 12 in the Race to Dubai rankings.
