After two great rounds, Sam Burns experienced a slight dip in performance on the third day of the FedEx St. Jude Championship. The frustration was visible as he smashed his driver into the ground during one of the holes.

On Saturday, August 17, Burns entered the third round at 10-under, just one stroke behind the leader. However, he had a mixed performance on the third day in Memphis. While he picked up seven birdies, the five bogeys and a double bogey meant he had to finish at an even par.

On the par-4 ninth hole, Burns’ tee shot went slightly left, leaving him frustrated. Venting his anger, he slammed his driver into the ground. Eventually, it took him five more shots to complete the hole. Here's the clip:
