Andy Murray, who has a net worth of $100 million (Celebrity Net Worth) largely thanks to his tennis prowess, has taken up a bit of golf since his retirement. He recently got the chance to show off his skills on the course at the BMW PGA Championship.
This DP World Tour event has a celebrity pro-am before it, and many others like Murray took the chance to get out on the golf course and show that they're more than whatever field they are famous for.

Pro golfer calls Andy Murray's foray into golf 'intimidating'
Ryan Fox won the 2023 BMW PGA Championship, one of the top golf tournaments on the tour. He's back to defend his crown and will tee off Thursday to do just that. Ahead of the tournament's beginning, he opened up on seeing Andy Murray at the event.
Fox said he knows Murray is trying to become a scratch golfer, and he's interested to see just how much work the former World No. 1 tennis player has to do to get there.

“It's always interesting for them tomorrow. It's an intimidating setting. There's a lot of people out there and it's always kind of funny to see some of those shots off the first tee. There's generally, if you're on the putting green, you hear a lot of shouts of 'Fore' off that. So kind of expecting to see a little bit of that tomorrow as well which is good fun.”
Justin Rose also acknowledged Andy Murray's journey to becoming a scratch golfer, saying he seems to have truly "taken to" the sport. Rose also said the swings he saw on social media looked good, and he believes Murray is on a good path to becoming a scratch golfer like he wants to.
