Tommy Fleetwood hilariously trolls Tom Holland as his son Frankie meets the Marvel actor in Spider-Man costume

After a long season of golf on the PGA Tour, Tommy Fleetwood will be seen competing this week on the DP World Tour. Fleetwood will be competing in the 2024 BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth Golf Club in Virginia Water, United Kingdom.

Ahead of the tournament, Tommy Fleetwood participated in the BMW PGA Championship Pro-Am event on Wednesday. He was paired with Tom Holland and his twin brothers Harry and Sam.

After the event, Tom Holland was seen engaging with Fleetwood's son Frankie who was dressed in a Spider-Man costume. In the video posted by DP World Tour, Holland, known for playing Spider-Man, praised Frankie's swing at Masters. He said (via DP World Tour):

"Well look at that, you're dad's telling me that you're really getting into your golf. How's your golf going? I saw you swing a club at Masters."

Holland, dressed in a dark green polo shirt and light-coloured pants, further said:

"Most people dream of hitting a ball at Masters, that's pretty cool that you've done that."

Holland then listed Spider-Man's infamous villains: 'There's Dr. Octopus, there's the Green Goblin, Sandman, Lizard.'

Tommy Fleetwood then joked in between and teased Holland saying:

"And then there's three Spider-Mans. And then there's three Spider-Mans. He's kind of our third favourite."

They all later click pictures with three of them posing with the signature Spider-Man hand gesture. The BMW PGA Championship 2024 will be held from Thursday, September 19 to 22.

Tommy Fleetwood says that 'celebrities can do a lot' to attract new people to the game of golf

Tommy Fleetwood, along with Tom Holland and his twin brothers, won the 2024 BMW PGA Championship Pro-Am event. The event was held before the main tournament on Wednesday, September 18, at Wentworth Golf Club in Virginia Water, United Kingdom.

In the press conference after the Pro-Am event, Fleetwood was asked if more could be done to involve celebrities like the Holland brothers and Andy Murray to help grow the game. He said (via ASAP Sports):

"Anything that we can do to all grow the game, and I think people that love the game, the celebrities, they can do a lot to attract the game to new people. It was massively busy and neat to see so many people watching."

Fleetwood further said that Holland and his brothers are 'very, very competitive.' He was then asked about the score when he added:

"I think 31. I'm not sure how well I did at marking the scorecard. I always find is very hard in the Pro-Ams but that was the score I was seeing up there. We did well. We got a low one going. I did birdie the last two holes to get us over the 30 mark. It's always me."

Tommy Fleetwood has played 22 tournaments this year, including 19 on the PGA Tour and two on the DP World Tour. He finished 20th in the FedExCup standings and is currently positioned 12th in the Race to Dubai rankings.

In 19 tournaments on the PGA Tour, he has had four top-10 finishes. In two starts, he has had one win at the Dubai Invitational and a T14 finish at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic. He won the Dubai Invitational by one stroke over Rory Mcllroy and Thriston Lawrence.
