Tommy Fleetwood has given important insight into what to expect from the TGL, which kicks off in a few months. He said he and other players are excited to experience the new way of playing golf in an arena with so much technology involved.

Fleetwood is currently in Denver, Colorado, for the BMW Championship, where he shot a 72 in the opening round. Additionally, he is one of the 24 players set to compete in the inaugural TGL, the much-anticipated tech-infused league co-owned by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy.

On Thursday, August 22, Fleetwood spoke to the PGA Tour, stating that he was excited to visit the SoFi Arena, which is under construction in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. He said:

"I really want to experience it before we get to play and see what it's like but it's going to be look it's different to anything that we've done before. And there's so much technology going into so much hard work going into it, different types of grass hitting into such a big screen and it's going to be really cool."
"And I think all of us as players are excited to see how it goes at experience be a part of it. It's just something very different, very new, hopefully it really resonates with viewers and people in the arena because I think interactive golf that indoor golf is has been such a huge bove recently and I think this is that on steroids if you like. So I'm really excited to see it at play."
