Golf equipment company TaylorMade recently announced a partnership with the Red Bull Racing F1 team to launch the special 'Pursuit Collection'. The F1 team is currently valued at $2.6 billion (per Forbes).

The 'Pursuit Collection' features limited edition golf equipment and lifestyle apparel. It was inspired by Red Bull's 2024 RB20 car and race suits of star drivers Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez. The special collection includes TaylorMade's P790 irons, Spider Tour putter, Milled Grind 4 wedges, TP5 Stripe balls, bags, hats, and other accessories. The items bear the signature red and blue of the F1 team along with checkered patterns on the backside and co-branded logo on the toe.

The premium golf clubs are equipped with cutting-edge features such as AI-optimized tungsten weighting and SpeedFoam Air, ensuring the ultimate control and precision for golfers.

The lifestyle products include a jacket, two hats, two hoodies, and three T-shirts, all inspired by the classic RB20 car. TaylorMade CEO and President, David Abeles, said in a press release (via Golf.com):

"TaylorMade is honored to join forces with Oracle Red Bull Racing, one of Formula 1’s premier racing teams, for a second time."

He added:

"We fully embrace the opportunity to work with some of the brightest minds in sport to bring the worlds of racing and golf together. The Pursuit Collection embodies our shared commitment to performance and innovation, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring the collection to golf and racing fans across the globe."

This is the second time that the equipment brand has partnered with the third-most valuable F1 team.

When did TaylorMade and Red Bull Racing collaborate for the first time?

Golf equipment giant TaylorMade collaborated with Red Bull Racing for the first time in 2023 just before the Netflix Cup in November. It was when the racers and the PGA Tour golfers got together for a made-for-TV match in Las Vegas.

As the name suggested, the never-before-seen crossover event was hosted by Netflix. It coincided with the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix. Prominent racers such as Lando Norris, Alex Albon, Pierre Gasly, and Carlos Sainz had taken part whereas Justin Thomas, Tony Finau, Max Homa, and Rickie Fowler represented the golfers. The two sides were divided into pairings.

The recent partnership with Red Bull Racing for the 'Pursuit Collection' follows some other exciting collaborations the equipment company announced this year. The brand had released a fun Pac-Man collection as well as a fashion launch with Kith.
