Robert MacIntyre jumps in the world ranking after winning the Genesis Scottish Open.

Robert MacIntyre made a 28-spot jump in the latest Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) update after winning the Genesis Scottish Open on Sunday (July 14). On the other hand, Harry Hall surged 88 spots to reach 100th place after triumphing in the opposite PGA Tour field event at the ISCO Championship.

MacIntyre entered the Renaissance Club as the World No. 44. He defeated Adam Scott in a thrilling final round on Sunday, which helped him rise to 16th in the latest ranking update. This is the highest ranking of his short career so far.

Hall was ranked 188th in the world before this week and wasn't even among the top 20 favorites to win at the Keene Trace Golf Club. However, he persisted and reached a playoff after shooting 3-under 69 on Sunday. He needed three extra holes to beat Matt NeSmith, Pierceson Coody, Zac Blair, and Rico Hoey for his maiden PGA Tour victory.

In the latest World Ranking update, the Englishman has entered the top 100, marking his best ranking so far.
