Adam Hadwin finished 47th in the FedExCup standings in the 2024 season. Despite not advancing to the Tour Championship this year, he has been exempted from the eight signature events in 2025 for finishing in the top 50.

The one-time PGA Tour winner recently played at Prairie Dunes Country Club, Hutchinson, Kansas, a 70 par and 6,759 yards course. The course was founded in 1937 by Emerson Carey and its first nine holes were designed by Perry Maxwell. In 1957, Maxwell's son Press completed the course.

Adam Hadwin took to X and wrote:

"Excited to finally play @prairiedunescc. It’s been the top course people have told me to play when I tell them I live in Wichita."

In response to his post, one of Hadwin's fans asked if many private clubs would still refuse PGA Tour players to play. The fan noted that Augusta National Golf Club, the venue for the Masters tournament would likely decline and how difficult it is to gain access to private clubs.

Hadwin responded and detailed how he avoided getting denied playing time by private clubs. He said:

"Good question. Most places I have gone I have either known someone who worked there, someone i know knows someone who works there and calls for me or I’ve played with a member."

Hadwin turned professional in 2009 and has 12 professional wins in his career. PGA Tour player has a career earnings of $25,032,823.
