PGA Tour pro Justin Rose surprises the Great Britain and Ireland team at breakfast ahead of the Curtis Cup

After Justin Rose's playoff campaign came to an end at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, the PGA Tour professional surprised the young amateurs from the Great Britain and Ireland team during breakfast. These amateurs are all set to play in the 2024 edition of the Curtis Cup.

Ahead of the competition, the Curtis Cup's official X handle uploaded a video where Justin Rose could be seen interacting with the players at the breakfast table. Upon his entry, the English professional said:

"Don't stop eating though please! Firstly, congrats on all being here, and making the team. So exciting. You're the home team, people are going to be cheering for you out there no matter what. But give them something to cheer about. Really great body language."

After Rose's prep talk, the amateur golfers and he proceeded to the golf course where he watched the women in practice. The 44-year-old was seen complimenting the golfers on their swing and towards the end of the video, he also clicked a picture with the entire team.

For those unaware, the Curtis Cup is considered one of the best amateur tournaments for women. It is played every two years between Team USA and Team Great Britain and Ireland. In 2023, Great Britain and Ireland ended up losing to the USA.
