Max Homa claims he watched European rival's unconventional swing '50 times'

Max Homa has one of the most eye-pleasing swings among current players. He recently praised an emerging European rival's unconventional swing in a video, which he claimed to have watched more than 50 times.

Homa was last seen at the Presidents Cup, scoring one point and finishing with a 1-2-0 record. Ángel Hidalgo is an emerging European player who is currently competing at the Andalucía Masters.

On Friday, October 18, the official X account of the DP World Tour shared a video compilation of Hidalgo's swing. Homa reposted the video, praising the Spaniard's unconventional swing.

"I have watched the first swing in this video 50 times," he wrote.

Hidalgo has been on a good run for the last few months. Last month, he won the Acciona Open de España by defeating his fellow countryman and tournament favorite, Jon Rahm, in a playoff.

This week, he is tied for sixth at 8-under after 36 holes and is seven shots back. Besides, the 26-year-old Spaniard has also qualified for the DP World Tour playoffs next month.
