Jordan Spieth and his wife Annie Verret recently donated $500,000 to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The donation was made in the name of The Jordan Spieth Family Foundation for AML Research, which involves finding better treatment for acute myeloid leukemia (AML).

The Jordan Spieth Family Foundation was founded in 2014 when Spieth was just 21 years old. Since then, the foundation has helped in supporting individuals with special needs, junior golf, military families and veterans, and pediatric cancer.

This comes ahead of the 2024 FedEx St. Jude Championship which is scheduled from Thursday, August 15 to 18 at TPC Southwind in Memphis, Tennessee. The Memphis Open which is now known as the FedEx St. Jude Championship, has raised over $60 million for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital since 1970.
