International team golfer Adam Scott made his 11th appearance at a Presidents Cup this year. When asked whether a 12th tournament is on the cards, his teammate Si Woo Kim said he is already a part of the future team.

The International team fought bravely but came up short as they lost to the US, 18.5-11.5 at Royal Montreal. The team appeared for a press conference after the tournament. Scott was asked whether he plans on a 12th appearance at the biennial tournament and he answered in the affirmative. However, his teammate Woo Kim quipped that Scott had already made the team. He said via ASAP Sports:

"He's in already. We wrote his name down."

Scott then elaborated on whether there would be a next time. The 44-year-old said that he would like to be a part of a "winning Presidents Cup" team.

"I think I can play for another couple years. I've come this far. If I can play in a couple more years and contribute a point, then I'd love to be on a winning Presidents Cup team. I'd love to push along and give it one more shot if I can," he said.

After a terrible first day where the International team lost all the fourball games, the squad scripted a remarkable comeback in the second round. On Friday, the International team pulled off a clean sweep in the foursomes matches to tie with the US.

Adam Scott paired up with Taylor Pendrith for the foursomes event and the duo won against Sahith Theegala and Collin Morikawa, 5-4. This was Scott's 22nd point overall in the Presidents Cup which is the most by any International player in the history of the tournament.

However, the US team ended up winning the tournament, 18.5-11.5.

Adam Scott is an International team veteran having played 11 Presidents Cups in his career. However, that also means he has suffered a string of heartbreaking losses that continued this year as well. The only exception was 2003 when the side managed to tie with the US. This year, the US won the tournament for the 10th time in a row.

At a press conference after the conclusion of the 2024 Presidents Cup, Scott was questioned whether this year felt different. He answered that he had a great feeling about the team before the beginning of the tournament.

However, despite some great performances, the result was the same. But Scott believes there is something to learn from this experience as well and said:

"With a deep dive, I think there are positives always to see, and hopefully, hopefully this competition inspires all of us sitting up here to play really hard, go on with our careers the next two years, win big events, and come back better prepared and ready to win in Chicago."

The 2026 Presidents Cup will be hosted by the US at the Medinah Country Club in Chicago, Illinois.
