After a successful Singapore Classic outing in Singapore, the DP World Tour is now headed to Bangkok for the 2023 Thailand Classic. The European Tour will be played at Amata Spring Country Club from Thursday, February 16.

The Thailand Classic will mark the 12th event of the 2023-2023 DP World Tour schedule. This will be the second European tour event in Asia in 2023 as well.

The Thai event has a prize purse of $2 million and will feature a 132-player field playing for the same. The event will not have Monday qualifiers. The organizers have let out a limited field for the competition days ahead of its start.

2023 Thailand Classic field

The DP World Tour 2023 Thailand Classic will have a 132-player field. The four-day event will see golfers compete against each other for the top prize. The Bangkok event will be headlined by the likes of Thriston Lawrence, Robert MacIntyre, and Adrian Otaegui, among others.

However, the tournament features no players from the top 50 in the Official World Golf Rankings among the top contenders. It is pertinent to note that the event clashes with the PGA Tour’s Genesis Invitational played in Los Angeles.

The American Tour event boasts a $20 million prize purse and thus, features more than 40 players from the world’s top 50.
