Matt Kuchar did not qualify for the 2024 FedEx Cup St. Jude Championship, finishing outside the top 70 in the FedEx Cup standings. As a result, he will miss the upcoming playoff.

With the conclusion of the 2024 Wyndham Championship, the official FedEx Cup standings have been released. Only the top 70 players will advance to the playoffs, which begin this week.

The FedEx Cup playoffs consist of three tournaments: the St. Jude Championship, followed by the BMW Championship, and then the season-ending Tour Championship. The top 70 players will compete in the St. Jude Championship, the top 50 will play at the BMW Championship, and the final top 30 will compete in the Tour Championship.

Matt Kuchar was in contention to earn a spot in the playoffs and had a strong start at the 2024 Wyndham Championship, shooting back-to-back rounds of 64. However, he struggled in the final two rounds, shooting 70 in the third round and 71 in the final round, finishing 12th on the leaderboard.

Kuchar ended the season ranked 103rd in the FedEx Cup standings, which means he will miss the St. Jude Championship. Notable names missing the playoffs this week include Rickie Fowler, who did not play at the Wyndham Championship, S.H. Kim, Joel Dahmen, Harry Hall, and Nicolai Hojgaard.
