"Coolest sporting event I've been to"- Scottie Scheffler in awe of Simone Biles-led USA Women's gymnastics team at the Paris Olympics

Scottie Scheffler is currently competing in the men's golf event at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The venue for the Olympic golf event is the Le Golf National's Albatross golf course, with the men's golf event starting on August 1st and the women's event beginning on August 7th on the same course.

Scottie Scheffler came to the venue earlier this week to start preparations for his first Olympics. After completing the preparations, Sheffler went to some other Olympic events. He attended the women's gymnastics event and said:

"Seeing the women's final in gymnastics was one of the coolest sporting events I think I have ever been to."

Team USA, led by Simone Biles, was competing in the final of the women's gymnastics at the 2024 Paris Olympics, and Scottie Scheffler attended the event with his wife Meredith. Simone Biles and co produced an incredible performance as they won gold, leaving Team USA golfer Scottie Scheffler in awe.

Scottie Scheffler carded -4 on day one and remained T6 for the event. He is four strokes behind the leader, Hideki Matsuyama. Going into the second day, Scheffler will begin his round at 12:06 pm with Ireland's Rory McIlroy and Sweden's Ludvig Aberg.

Scheffler is second highest among the four US golfers in the field. Xander Schauffele is the highest-ranked US golfer after round one and is just two strokes behind the leader at -6.
