After the conclusion of the Open de Espana, the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship is the next big event on the DP World Tour. Established in 2001, the tournament has been a major attraction for golf fans as it features some of the best professional golfers and even celebrities.
The 168 professional golfers on the field at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship will be paired with amateurs. Once three rounds of play are over, the top 60 professionals (including ties) along with the leading 20 teams will make the cut.

Along with celebrities, the 2024 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship will also witness family members of professional golfers play. Dougie MacIntyre, who shared the spotlight with his son Robert MacIntyre at the 2024 RBC Canadian Open, will be playing at the event.
British professional golfer Matt Fitzpatrick will be teaming up with his mother, Sue, while Tyrrell Hatton and Rory McIlroy will be competing alongside their fathers, Jeff and Gerry respectively.
