Bubba Watson will play in this week's LIV Golf Greenbrier, which will take place from August 16 to August 18 at the Old White Course of the Greenbrier. As Watson tees up on Friday, the LIV League completes its 100th round in the golf world since it held its first round in June 2022 at the Centurion Club.

Speaking during the press conference before the LIV Golf Greenbrier, Bubba Watson said how it's a 'privilege' for him to be a part of LIV and claimed that the changes brought about by LIV Golf helped Scottie Scheffler earn a lot of money on the PGA Tour. Watson said (via ASAP TEXT):

“This is exciting times. When I think about going through the motions of deciding I wanted to come to LIV, I thought about the 10-year plan, on paper, what the goals were, and it's met my expectations. It's been better than that. We've changed the face of golf. So to be on that side of history is pretty special…It's an honor and a privilege to say I'm a part of that,” Bubba Watson said.
“Scottie Scheffler has made a lot of money this year because of the changes that we've started putting in place. I believe that golf is actually growing in the right spot, and I think team golf is here to stay,” he added.

The 13 LIV teams will play at the LIV Golf Greenbrier on Friday and last year's champion, Bryson DeChambeau, who had a record round of 58 at last year's Greenbrier tournament, will also join the star-studded field.
