PGA Tour players will head this week to the season-ending Wyndham Championship, featuring a regular field. The tournament will start with its first round on Thursday, August 8, and will run through the weekend, concluding on Sunday, August 11.
Ahead of the event, the power rankings were revealed, with Sungjae Im topping the list and beating other top-ranked golfers, including such names as Shane Lowry, Si Woo Kim, and Cam Davis.
Sungjae Im has played in 21 events this season, recording seven top-10 finishes. He last played at the 2024 Open Championship, where he tied for seventh place after shooting rounds of 76, 72, 66, and 69. The South Korean golfer is one of the favorites to win this week. His best finish of the season was at the Travelers Championship where he tied for third place.
Billy Horschel is also in good form and secured the second spot in the power rankings, followed by Davis. Lowry, in fifth place, has played in 16 events this season and was the winner at the Zurich Classic. He has recorded six top-10 finishes this season and only missed one cut. He last played at the men's golf event at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where he finished tied for 26th place.
