After a four-hour delay due to high winds, the second round of the Shriners Children's Open was suspended due to darkness. All players were able to start, but only the 64 in the "Morning Wave" were able to finish.
The X (formerly Twitter) PGA Tour Communications account reported that the second round will resume at 7:15 a.m. Saturday, local time, 10:15 a.m. Eastern time.
Taylor Pendrith continues to lead the Shriners Children's Open at 10-under. The Canadian will resume playing the seventh hole and leads Rico Hoey by one stroke.

Taylor Pendrith has not been able to come close to his score from the first day of the Shriners Children's Open, carding an even-par score of one birdie and one bogey in his first six holes ( he will resume playing the 7th). The Canadian was 10 under the day before.
Rico Hoey carded an eagle, two birdies and a double bogey in his first seven holes to move to 9 under for the tournament. He is currently solo second place and will resume play on 8.
The best score of the Shriners Children's Open's second round so far belongs to Pierceson Coody, who had eight birdies and two bogeys (6 under). With this performance, Coody is 5 under through 36 holes and has climbed 81 places to T26 (with the round still to play).
