Jordan Spieth is out of the top 50 golfers in the world for the first time since 2021. The golfer was 48th last week and is now positioned 51st, one place behind Alex Noren. The $120 million-worth golfer (according to celebritynetworth.com) enjoyed the No. 1 world ranking during 2015 and 2016 for 26 weeks.
Spieth was in his peak form at the time, winning five titles in 2015, including the US Open and the Masters Tournament, and three in 2016, including the Open Championship.
Following that, he had three triumphs in 2017, one triumph in 2021, and his last victory came at the 2022 RBC Heritage. The golfer had no triumphs in 2023 and 2024. Spieth's poor form in the last two years followed his wrist injury problems, which started before the 2023 PGA Championship.
He underwent surgery earlier this year and following that, he told Golfweek that he was trying to regroup himself physically. Speaking in September this year, Jordan Spieth said,

I’ve got to get the mobility back first and I need to get full mobility back before you then have to get the strength back. So stuff with the golf swing as I start back will start to feel very different week in and week out as I start to get the strength back in my left hand.”
Spieth's last event of the 2024 season was the FedEx St. Jude Championship, where he finished at T68.

Jordan Spieth had only three top-ten finishes in 2024. His first top-10 finish came at the Sentry, where he finished in a tie for third place with 27-under 265. His next top-10 finish came at the WM Phoenix Open, where he finished at T6 with a score of 14-under 270.
His last top-10 finish this year was at the Valero Texas Open, where he sealed a T10 finish, shooting 73, 68, 72, and 69 over the four rounds.
However, Spieth's count of missed cutlines was higher than his top ten finishes. He missed the cutline at the Players Championship, the Valspar Championship, the Masters Tournament, the CJ CUP Byron Nelson, the Memorial Tournament pres. by Workday, the Genesis Scottish Open, and the Wyndham Championship.
He also had the misfortune of being disqualified from the Genesis Invitational for signing an incorrect scorecard after the second round.
