Fortnite Symbiote Cup: Start date, how to participate, and rewards

To celebrate Fortnitemares 2024, Epic Games introduces the Fortnite Symbiote Cup. As the name suggests, the theme revolves around the Symbiotes from the Marvel Universe. With two versions of Venom and one very scary-looking version of Carnage already present, it seems apt to add two more Symbiotes to the Metaverse: She-Venom and Agony.

Fortnite Symbiote Cup details

Start Date

The Fortnite Symbiote Cup will start on October 22, 2024. As with other tournaments, it will be accessible to players from all regions that have access to Fortnite.

How to participate

You can participate in the Symbiote Cup by completing three simple steps:

Go to the "Compete" tab in the top menu bar and navigate to the "Symbiote Cup" banner.
Check the timing based on your local time zone to ensure you don't miss out.
Five minutes before starting, the "Participate" button will appear, click on it to get ready and start the match.

Tournament eligibility

The Symbiote Cup is an open-for-all Battle Royale Duos tournament. There are no rank requirements, but you will need to ensure a few requisites are in place to get access to it:

Your Account Level should be at least 50.
Two Two-factor authentication must be on.
You must be 13 years or older.

Tournament structure

The duration of the Symbiote Cup will be three hours in total. You will be able to play up to 10 matches within the selected region. The point system for the Symbiote Cup works as follows:

Victory Royale: 65 points
Second: 56 points
Third: 52 points
Fourth: 48 points
Fifth: 44 points
Sixth: 40 points
Seventh: 38 points
Eighth: 36 points
Ninth: 34 points
10th: 32 points
11th: 30 points
12th: 28 points
13th: 26 points
14th: 24 points
15th: 22 points
16th: 20 points
17th: 18 points
18th: 16 points
19th: 14 points
20th: 12 points
21st: 10 points
22nd: Eight points
23rd: Six points
24th: Four points
25th: Two points

Each elimination will grant the Duos one point. You will need 65 eliminations in total to get the Victory Royale.

As per the information available, the top-point-earning teams in each region will unlock the She-Venom and Agony Outfits. They will be added to the Fortnite Item Shop on October 24, 2024.

Symbiote Cup notes

Boom Billys, Pumpkin Launchers, and the Billy and Ultima Carver fights are not included in tournaments.
