The eventful live event ushered in the maestro of magic, Doctor Doom. As the timer ran out the Rift Beacons hit Doom Castle and the chimney in hopes of Rifting him to another dimension. But the Beacon failed and Doom states that those who dare to stand against him will pay the price. He hits back and a large sandstorm blows everyone away.
Immediately the scene shifts to a cutscene where Doctor Doom finally appears. All the Marvel characters like War Machine and Gwenpool launch attacks against him but Doom's magic shield blocks them. He counters their attack by launching a powerful burst of energy. Captain Jones suffers a huge hit and is immediately damaged.
Hope steps in front of the beam of energy with Captain's shield and immediately it is seen that the vibranium ingrained in the shield absorbs Pandora's energy from Doom's beam. The supervillain picks up Hope and brings her near his face. Hope takes advantage of this and smashes the charged shield on Doom's face, blinding him in one eye. Hope lands on the ground and all the Avengers stand next to her, ready to fight.
The cutscene finishes and players are returned to the game where they must face Doctor Doom.
