Mario Gomez was officially unveiled by Italian Serie A side Fiorentina on Monday (July 15th) after completing his move from Bayern Munich.

If I would have been able to choose, then probably I would have stayed where I was, because I had everything there. Many people wonder why I have decided to go, it might seem strange to some, but what matters most for me is to be able to play, and I have this chance here. The place obviously is beautiful, the region, the city, but the most important thing is go out and play.”
