Video: Luiz Felipe Scolari pleased with Brazil's performance

Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari spoke about his side’s 6-0 thrashing of Australia in a friendly international on Saturday, 7 September.

Luiz Felipe Scolari, Brazil coach, said: “I think the pace was very good. both in the first half, and the second half. It’s clear that with the changes the team lost a little of the tempo and the feeling between the players themselves was not the same. But they didn’t play this game as a friendly match, it was played as a tournament game! That’s what pleased me the most! The effort, dedication, The way they faced The opponent, whether the opposition was a weaker team or a stronger one is of no interest to me. They played The way they did at the Confederations Cup. t The result doesn’t matter, it was the attitude the players had that satisfied me the most.”

“I have to build a group with 23 players for the World Cup. Everybody is fighting for a place here and players are getting opportunities to prove they should be part of the 23.”
